Lindsay and Kendal Both At 4 Months

Do they look anything alike???

Kendal 4 Months

Kendal is now 4 months old and weighs 13 lbs. She continues to adore her big sister. When Kendal hears Lindsay's voice she immediately turns her head to watch her big sis, and who wouldn't...the now 2 year old is very entertaining and quite fun to watch. Kendal babbles to herself all the time and occasionally squeals with laughter. We will begin the adventures of eating solid foods this month which I am certain will make for some great photo opportunities. We love that Kendal resembles her daddy and has his coloring...even when she is mad she looks exactly like him...hehehehe! We also love having two girls and enjoy watching Lindsay develop a fondness for her little sis, she now will attempt to get her to stop crying which is very sweet. We look forward to the day they can actually play together.

Lindsay's Second Birthday Party

We celebrated Lindsay's birthday this weekend with a family gathering at Lindsay's Poppy's house. There was an Ariel cake and a pink castle jump house. She of course received many wonderful things...some of her favorites were her tricycle, her dress-up set from her Aunt Nancy and her baby stroller from her Nina. At the party once she saw the dress-up set she would not take off the pink hat. Yesterday Mike assembled her stroller and we dressed "Bitty Baby" in her new outfit and put her in the stroller. Lindsay proceeded to push the stroller up and down the hallway in our house all day long...Mike and I are afraid she is going to wear a hole in the carpet...but I must say she looks soooo cute pushing that stroller. The party was exactly what we intended, a gathering of loving family and godparents.

Lindsay Jane Turns 2

Today Lindsay turned two. She was so excited about her birthday she couldn't fall asleep last night. We will have chocolate cake this evening...via her request. She trotted off to school today with goodie bags for all her classmates and doughnuts for snack. Our girl is so grown up!

Mike's 40th Birthday

We celebrated Mike's 40th birthday with a family dinner. My dad cooked, so of course the food was delicious (Lindsay especially liked "corn on a pinecone" (corn on the cob)). Lindsay was in rare form so the entertainment was fabulous. Kendal was in a good mood, letting anyone hold her and not screaming! The finale was Mike blowing out his candles with a little help from his oldest daughter who is practicing for her upcoming birthday next week.

Happy 4th of July!

Lindsay watched her first fireworks show from our front porch. We were amazed at how well we were able to see the fireworks from the beach by our house. She loved watching them with her dad and talked his ear off the entire time she was on the porch. The following morning she woke up looking for more fireworks...we still are trying to explain to her that it is pretty much a once a year thing. Hope you enjoyed your 4th!

Kendal Christine 3 Months Old!

We cannot believe our baby girl is already 3 months old. Yes she is cute but boy can she scream! We definitely can't ignore her while tending to Lindsay...she lets us know she needs our full attention. Unlike her older sister she is not a fan of having bows in her hair so I have to sneak them on when an opportunity presents itself. I tried this photo shoot 3 different times and finally was able to get some pictures of her not crying, WHEW!

It's a school day today!

I love to go to school each day and play with my friends. My teacher Miss Jessica is very patient with me and my mommy says that she wants to keep me with Miss Jessica until I am five. I have a boyfriend named Craig who I call "Craigy" and we share everything with eachother...the only problem is that we do not like to share with anyone else...my mommy says I have to work on that. I know it is a good day at school when I come home with soup spilled down my shirt, paint on my hands, sand in my shoes a messy hair doo...that sure is the best!

Sisters

The girls are growing and changing every day. Lindsay will be two next month and Kendal will be 12 weeks this Sunday. We continue to be in awe each day about the things Lindsay remembers and says...she doesn't miss a beat and we're in trouble. Kendal is becoming more animated and expressive, she loves to listen to Lindsay talk and smiles away at her big sis when she hears her voice. All I have to say at this point is...Life Is Good!

Welcome to our Family Blog!

Well it is about time to get this thing up and running. With two children under three, a husband and a dog...we'll see how often I'll be able to keep up with all of our life's events. Mostly I just wanted a space for our family and friends to check out every once in a while. So here it begins...
