Percentiles and Measurements

We spent the morning at the pediatrician. Kendal cried the entire time, even before Dr. Hamilton arrived. Lindsay was pleasant and coorperative...whew! 1 out of 2 isn't bad and thank goodness Mike was there to lend a hand. So now we have some important info. to document.

Lindsay Jane - 8/17/09
36 pounds = 87%ile
38 inches tall = 70%ile

Kendal Christine - 8/17/09

Snugglin with dad and an afternoon at the beach

Snuggling with dad...so cute!!

Last Saturday afternoon we went to Marine Stadium and hung out at the beach for a while. The weather was beautiful and the crowd was beginning to fade so we enjoyed some sand castle building and wading.

Lindsay's 3rd Birthday Celebration

The birthday girl making a wish before blowing out the candles...must be a good wish with that smile...hope it comes true!!

Some of our wonderful guests...the Collins Family...we love them!!

Waiting for her guests to arrive.

All she wanted was to look like a princess...we succeeded.

This is how Kendal was the majority of the party...she certainly had a bee in her bonnet.

A princess cake for the princess.

A couple family photos.

Kendal...being Kendal!

Kendal doing what she does best...looking cute and reading books...don't you just want to smooch her!!

Pajammin fun!

Of course we continue to love our matching pjs...on this particular occassion Lindsay grabbed her sister and said "Mom...take our picture"...you didn't have to twist my arm.

Beach Day

We got to spend some time at the beach/bay this week with Auntie Whitt, Auntie Debbie, Teta Tini, Zack and Ky...it was fun and the water was sooooo refreshing. All was well until the police came (yes, the police) and told us the beach we were on was not a beach for swimming...just for boaters...so we had to pack up and go (thank goodness it was close to naptime anyway)...such a perfect little beach it was...now we'll just have to find another! We sure loved hanging out together though!!

On a side note...Kendal's pacifier strategically stayed in place to minimize the consumption of sand and salt water...it worked!!
