We spent the morning at the pediatrician. Kendal cried the entire time, even before Dr. Hamilton arrived. Lindsay was pleasant and coorperative...whew! 1 out of 2 isn't bad and thank goodness Mike was there to lend a hand. So now we have some important info. to document. Lindsay Jane - 8/17/09 36 pounds = 87%ile 38 inches tall = 70%ile Kendal Christine - 8/17/09 24 pounds = 59 %ile 33 inches tall = 91 %ile (wow!)
Our now four year old is full of life and a little ray of sunshine. Kendal is always bouncing around, giggling and being a complete goofball. She often finds herself removed from the dinner table because of her constant silliness. Our girl is very agile and tackles physical tasks with ease and grace. This summer she learned to swim and shows strength, speed and determination when crossing the pool. Kendal enjoys eating blueberries, strawberries, quesadillas, macaroni and cheese, soup, pancakes, and is game to try new items at anytime. She loves Justin Beaver (Beiber), singing, dancing, playing dress-up with her big sister, riding her scooter, playing with her friends at school (especially Ava, Shannon and Delilah), climbing at the park, watching the movie Tangled and hanging out with Estela. She gives great hugs and can be very loving and affectionate...often saying "I so love you" which melts our hearts each and every time. She has the world at her fingertips...we love you Kendal girl!
So true...
Lindsay Jane
The Big Sister
The life of a 6 year old...
Our sweet Lindsay Jane is now 6 years old and in first grade. Lindsay is sweet, kind, compassionate and friendly. She continues to be very protective of her younger sister. She likes to be fashionable, and loves to wear fancy dresses any time she can. She is reading on her own, and is also writing stories. Coloring and drawing continue to be one of her favorite things to do. Lindsay still likes to play dress-up and wants to comb and style her own hair each morning (yikes). She learned to swim this summer and has gotten over her fear of putting her face in the water. Lindsay takes modern dance and loves it...she is learning to do the splits! She just started first grade at the school where I teach, and is making new friends and enjoying being at school with her mommy. We love the way she cares for others and her family, and admire her thoughtfulness! Love you so much Lindsay Jane!
