My friend has a horse at the stables close to our house. We ventured there yesterday to see her horse. As soon as we stepped out of the car we had chickens, peacocks, roosters, bunnies and squirrels scurrying all around us. We paid a visit to Cody (my friend's horse), Pete and Stretch (Cody's stable mates). Lindsay fed him and his friends a couple carrots and gave each horse a few strokes on the nose. Kendal tentatively watched. We collected feathers, visited a Shetland pony named Ferbie and watched some horses run in the arena. Can't wait to return to the stables for another visit. Lindsay of course wants to become a cowgirl and asked for a horse for her birthday...yikes!
