So happy my girl is
trying something new.
Volleyball.
Her Grammy was a great
volleyball player.
She likes it so far.
The best part is that she
has two good friends
on her team.

Party At The Syversons
We had some of our friends over
the other night.
These folks have been friends for some time;
some since birth
and some since they were two years old.
They're just a sweet crew.

Winter at the Beach
Winter has had a difficult time
showing up this year…
it's like one continual summer…
the beach in winter
is pretty amazing…
we like to take advantage
of our surroundings.
Just five minutes from our house…
this is always waiting for us...

and while Delilah and Kendal dance,
these two carry on like old friends should…
Of course, us moms are secretly planning
their future wedding…
they just have innocent fun
and sweet conversations…
while we look on…
it's really quite endearing.
Grandma Kathy's Birthday
In January we celebrated
Grandma Kathy's Birthday.
She is a pretty fabulous Grandma.
Always so attentive when Lindsay and Kendal are
at her house.
She constantly engages them
in fun activities like: baking, playing piano,
bug hunting, arts and crafts…
she's one of the most
patient, forgiving
people I know.
We are lucky to have her around!
Staycation
The Happiest Place on Earth
was the best place for our Ski Week
vacation stay.
We were blessed with a night's stay at
The Grand Californian…
and it was sooooo Grand…
Not quite sure why these two were obsessed with having maps this time…
it's not like it's our first time…

guest a room key with their name…

Nothing like spending time
at a place we love
each time we're there...
