Cambria, CA. July 2011

Great trip up the central coast of California. My dad and Kathy invited us to stay with them at their vacation house. We enjoyed: the beautiful scenery, quaint town, Hearst Castle, tide pools, Moonstone Beach, seals, deer, Paso Robles Mid-state Fair, family meals...wonderful memories...

Multiple families of deer surrounded our house every morning and at dusk...amazing entertainment for a 5 and 3 year old. These were right outside our door.

Mid-state Fair-Paso Robles Cambria= 58 degress Paso Robles= 98 degrees - It was HOT! Saw some animals (one of the biggest steers I have ever seen), rode some rides, had some ice cream, people watched, hugged a black bear and then were VERY ready to head back to the lovely 58 degrees in Cambria!

Earlier this summer Lindsay's Nina came to visit and brought along two of our favorite people, my goddaughter Erin and her youngest daughter Kate. Lindsay and Kendal were beyond thrilled to have these two for playdates...who wouldn't want someone who will do whatever it is you ask...like play dress up or playdough...thanks for a great time girls...we love you!!

Swimming Lessons

We loved swim lessons this summer and applaud the swim school we attended. They have the process down to a science and it was such a pleasure for the girls. They loved their four week session with Miss Jordan. Swimming every day for four weeks was a plus. The girls now love the water and are confident (almost) swimmers.

We love you Lindsay Jane...you're a wonderful, protective, loyal big sister; sweet, loving and kind daughter; affectionate, caring, compassionate granddaughter; and a fun, playful, energetic friend. Lindsay's "Friend" Birthday Party

We knew MY GYM threw great parties...so that's what we did for Lindsay's "friend" b-day party. We held her party a month early, before her friends went off in all directions for summer. In attendance were many friends Lindsay started pre-school with three years ago. It has been fun watching them grow and blossom...we know some will be life-long friends. Thanks for a great time: Kendal, Ava, Charlie, Sofie, Craigy, Delilah, Eeva, Anthony, Michael, Marley, Eliana, Kai, and Zacky...so glad you could come! xoxo Lindsay
