Lindsay and I have an ongoing dialog about whose baby she is. I say to her "Are you my baby?" and she responds, "No, I'm Dada's baby"...and usually the routine is I pretend to cry which of course makes her laugh.
So we're on our way to pre-school the other day in the car and our conversation goes something like this.
Mom - Lindsay are you my baby?
Lindsay - No, I'm Dada's baby!
(mom pretends to cry for a few seconds, stops, turns and looks in the back seat at her daughter)
Lindsay - Keep cryin' mom (with a smirk on her face and everything).
We both laughed...funny kid...you just never know what they're going to say...surprisingly it can often be very witty.
Had to show off the braided hair while I was posting photos...so cute!
